Greek Police (EL.AS) on Tuesday announced the arrest of a 55-year-old military officer on felony child pornography possession charges, with report saying the suspect possessed thousands of illegal photo and video files.
According to reports citing to the latest child pornography incident, authorities said some of the shocking images are of children under the age of 10.

The suspect, who is married, was identified with the rank of colonel. He was arrested at his home after Greek authorities were tipped off by foreign law enforcement services.
He was charged with the felony counts and is expected to first face a court martial.
