Eight Greek citizens were among the 10 passengers injured on Monday when the tourist coach they were travelling in collided with a truck in neighboring Bulgaria.
Luckily, only one of the 10 injured passengers, a Greek woman, remained hospitalized but with mild injuries.
According to media reports in Bulgaria, the coach was headed south towards the northern town of Byala, between Volovo and Borovo, when it collided with the lorry at a turn on the road.
Footage from the scene showed significant damage to the bus, while the roadway was blocked for hours.
The incident was the second for the same group of Greek holiday-makers, as their first coach, with a Greek driver, rammed into another vehicle while traveling in Romania, although no injuries were reported.
The group was transferred to another coach with a Romanian driver, with the more serious accident coming a day later.
The group had been on a tour of Romania and Bulgaria for the New Year’s holiday.
Both drivers involved in the second accident tested negative for alcohol and controlled substances.
