In light of the Greek Independence Day, Monday, March 25, Attica Region governor, Nikos Hardalias, posted a mysterious 15-second video on social media, inviting us to look up to the sky of the Greek capital on Sunday night, eve of the national holiday.
Without giving any further explanation Hardalias shared on his social media:
“For those who will be around the center of Athens on Sunday night, a few minutes after 9 p.m. , look up! We’re lighting up the Athenian sky!
In a spectacular way, we choose to highlight and honor the Greeks who fought with courage and selflessness, marking Greek history with heroism and sacrifice.”
