NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who led the Milwaukee Bucks to the top of their group in the championship last night, has acquired the Village Cinema Rentis, a large shopping center complex located in the homonymous suburb in the region of Attica, in partnership with PREMIA Properties.

PREMIA Properties released a statement informing the public the deal was reached after Renti to Go Single-Member S.A. acquired 100% of the shares of Trivillage Developments Greece Single-Member S.A. for a total price of €14.1 million.

Reflecting on the significant investment, Giannis Antetokounmpo stated his family had invested in an area where he and his brother Thanasis had spent their childhood years. He added the investment was the most significant in Greece to date. “Our vision is to enhance the space, offering people and their families unforgettable moments while implementing our broader plans for the development of sports.”

His brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, highlighted the emotional significance of the move apart from its business goals, referring to his childhood memories in the area.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family business underscore their commitment to giving back to their roots and fostering community growth through sports and recreation.

The investment aims to revitalize the well-known complex and establish a model sports and entertainment center in the broader Rentis area. The vision includes creating a meeting point for families with children and young people.

Although the current facilities are in good condition, immediate upgrades are planned to elevate the property and enhance its offerings, turning it into a premier destination for both sports and recreation.
