NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is soaking up the Greek sun and enjoying the beautiful turquoise sea with his family, enjoying a well-deserved rest from his duties after the end of the Paris Olympics.
With the new NBA season set to start on October 22, the Greek Freak visited the cosmopolitan Aegean island of Mykonos, accompanied by his brothers, Thanasis and Kostas.
In an Instagram post, the Greek Freak shared some snapshots on Friday, August 23, with his 16 million followers of the relaxing moments he spent in Greece with his brothers before heading back to the U.S.
The 8-time NBA All-Star player posed in a floral shirt during a walk and in swimwear while enjoying a swim with his brothers.
Although his trip to the “island of the winds”, as Mykonos is known, was reportedly brief, and Giannis shied away from media lights, it was naturally impossible for him to go unnoticed. Fans quickly recognized him and eagerly approached to greet him and take photos together.
Late on Tuesday night, Giannis Antetokounmpo strolled through the narrow streets of Matogiannia, accompanied by his security. Even at 4:30 a.m., people continued to express their admiration and ask for pictures with him, which he graciously obliged.
