A fire broke out Wednesday afternoon in an outdoor area at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos.”
According to the Fire Department, the fire started in an area containing merchandise.
Six firefighting vehicles went to the scene and are actively working to control the blaze. Firefighting efforts are ongoing and the fire has not spread to other areas of the airport.
