Tuesday is forecast to be another day of fair weather in Greece, albeit a bit chilly.

Meteorologists are predicting a shift in weather patterns in the near future however, which will finally bring some much needed rain to Greece in the second half of November.

For today, extensive sunshine is expected, particularly in the west, north, and much of the Aegean.

Local clouds are expected in Halkidiki, Thessaly, Evia, Central Sterea, and Crete, with a slight chance of drizzle or light rain in Thessaly and Central Sterea. However, any rainfall will be light and limited in intensity.

Temperatures will drop slightly, reaching 18°C in the central and northern regions and up to 21°C in areas along the Aegean and the islands. Higher maximums will remain in the western and southern Aegean regions, where temperatures may reach 23–24°C.

In the Ionian Sea, winds will be easterly at 3–5 Beaufort, locally reaching 6 Beaufort in the central Ionian. In the Aegean, strong northerly winds will persist at 5–7 Beaufort.

Forecast for Attica and Thessaloniki

In Attica, the weather will be clear and mostly sunny. Temperatures will range from 12–21°C, with northerly winds at 4–6 Beaufort, strengthening to 7 Beaufort in eastern areas after midday.

In Thessaloniki, sunny spells with local clouds are expected throughout the day. Temperatures will range from 10–18°C, with light winds from various directions at 2–3 Beaufort.
