Cloudy weather in Greece on Thursday with rain in several regions of the country, especially the south, is expected to come down quite muddy due to the African dust crossing the Med.

Specifically, in western Greece, Thrace, and the eastern Aegean, the weather will be unstable with clouds and moderate rainfall. Light, localized showers are forecast for the Cyclades and Crete, intensifying in the west by evening. Thunderstorms are expected in the northern Ionian Sea and the Epirus region. The rest of the country will see intermittent cloud cover.

Temperatures will continue to climb unseasonably about 4-5 degrees above November’s average, reaching 17–20 degrees Celsius in northern regions, 19–21 degrees in the west, 22 degrees in eastern mainland areas and the Aegean islands.

Winds will blow from the southwest at 5–7 Beaufort in the Ionian and Aegean seas.

Sunny and clear skies are expected in Attica, with some clouds in the evening. Temperatures will peak at 21 degrees, and winds will blow from the southwest at 3–5 Beaufort in surrounding coastal areas.

Thessaloniki with be partly cloudy throughout the day. The daily high will be 19 degrees, with light winds at 2–3 Beaufort, turning southerly in the afternoon.
