Sunny, blue skies will start the week right in across most of Greece.
Some fog may be visible in the morning, while the eastern Aegean, Dodecanese and Crete should expect some light showers until noon. Come the afternoon the islands will join in on the clear weather however.
Temperatures will slightly drop, reaching 23-26 degrees Celsius in the north, up to 27 degrees in the west, and 27-28 degrees in the eastern mainland. Similar daily highs recorded in the Aegean, no higher than 28 degrees.
Winds will blow from the northwest at 3-5 Beaufort in the seas.
Sunshine throughout the day is expected in Attica. Temperatures will range from 18-28 degrees Celsius, and winds will blow from the north at 3-5 Beaufort in the morning, gradually becoming lighter and variable at 2-3 Beaufort.
Blue skies are expected in Thessaloniki as well, with temperatures ranging from 17-26 degrees, with northern winds blowing in the Thermaic Gulf at 3-5 Beaufort, weakening to 2-3 Beaufort in the afternoon.
The good weather will continue until at Wednesday with temperatures experiencing a slight rise as well.
The sunny forecast comes as a relief as storm “Cassandra” wreaked havoc across the country during the last few days, bringing extensive damage to properties, roads, agriculture and even costing a person’s life on Saturday.
