The body of BBC host and presented Dr. Michael Mosley has been transported to the island of Rhodes to undergo an autopsy, the results of which are expected today, Monday June 10.
The decomposed remains of Mosley were found on Sunday, June 9 on a rocky slope on the island of Symi, just a few meters from Aghia Marina beach.
Police sources state that the body had been lying dead at the location for several days and was in advanced stages of decomposition, making it difficult to determine much about the cause of death. That being said, no foul play is suspected.
The famous doctor had been declared missing since Wednesday, June 5 at 13:30 after he didn’t meet up with his wife and a friendly couple on the island, triggering a massive search and rescue operation.

Dr. Michael Mosley was Britain’s most well-known TV doctor. He graduated from Oxford and went on to become a TV host on the BBC. He writes a column in the Daily Mail.
