Thirteen individuals arrested during an alleged narcotics-fueled rave party at an east Attica prefecture villa last week were led on Thursday before an investigative magistrate, essentially part of the arraignment process.

The 13 were arrested on Dec. 30 during a raid on their residence in Kalyvia Township, southeast of Athens proper.

Beyond the sheer amount and assortment of narcotics found during the raid at the rave party, the arrest of a well-known British-Azeri DJ, 44, and subsequent press reports linking her to law enforcement investigations in the United Kingdom and her alleged familial relations to the ruling family of Azerbaijan.

More than 40,000 euros were also seized in a safe located in one of the villa’s bedrooms.

The other 12 suspects have been identified as Greek nationals.

Another two people, a couple, were initially arrested upon arriving at the party, but subsequently freed after maintaining they had no connection to the drugs found inside.
