A 23-year-old young man with autism and an intellectual disability was found unconscious inside of a car in front of his parents’ house after being left there for hours in the heat and sun.
According to reports at MEGA TV, the parents of the young man have been arrested and claim that they did not notice that young man was missing until it was too late.
The parents found him unconscious themselves on Sunday, July 14, around noontime and took him to the local health center on the Greek island of Evia themselves.
The young man was then transferred to the general hospital on the island where he tragically died later the same evening.
The parents are being charged with endangering their son, meanwhile the local police department has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death, says MEGA TV.
