A debate by six candidates vying for the socialist/social democrat PASOK too place on Tuesday evening at the national broadcaster (ERT), which also televised the entire event.

The six candidates included incumbent Nikos Androulakis, former minister and current deputy Pavlos Geroulanos, Nadia Giannakopoulou, also a MP, former minister and EU Commissioner Anna Diamantopoulou, Athens Mayor Haris Doukas, and deputy Michalis Katrinis.

The six candidates answered questions by the moderators/journalists and between each other, on the issues of economy-development-social state-new generation-tge demographic problem; foreign policy-defense-EU; state-institutions-local government; climate crisis-civil protection and energy transition, as well as internal PASOK issues.

Every candidate had the option of submitting questions to other candidates, answering questions and making comments.

Questions and answers were not to exceed 30 seconds.
