Pro-Palestinian Protesters Arrested During Greek Independence Day Military Parade in Athens (videos)

The activists brandished Palestinian flags in solidarity with the people in Gaza

Police arrested 8 individuals who staged a pro-Palestine protest during the military parade on the occasion of Greek Independence Day in Athens on March 25.

The activists jumped out of the crowd and brandished Palestinian flags in front of tanks as the parade rolled down Panepistimou Avenue in the center of Athens in solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are suffering many civilian casualties from Israeli attacks in Gaza, following the October 7th attacks by the terrorist group Hamas against Israel.

The video of the protest was picked up and shared by the Quds News Network, which is affiliated with Hamas.

“Activists waving flags of Palestine stop the Greek National Parade, held today in Athens, for a while before being quelled by police,” the outlet reports.
