Incumbent PASOK leader Nikos Androulakis was victorious in the party’s elections on Sunday evening, securing a spot in the second round of the process. Androulakis is leading by 8.57 points with 98.17% of the votes counted, with the Athens Mayor Haris Doukas and Pavlos Geroulanos battling it out for second place with only 877 votes separating the two candidates in favor of the Athens Mayor.
A total of 911 polling stations out of 928 have been tabulated.
Specifically, the candidates have received:
Nikos Androulakis: 29.99%, with 87,807 votes.
Haris Doukas: 21.42%, with 62,711 votes.
Pavlos Geroulanos: 21.12%, with 61,834 votes.
Anna Diamantopoulou: 19.42%, with 56,868 votes.
Michalis Katrinis: 5.75%, with 16,830 votes.
Nadia Giannakopoulou: 2.31%, with 6,765 votes.
Pavlos Geroulanos is in first place in the Attica region, with 76.32% of the votes counted (143 out of 228 polling stations).
