The prime ministers of Greece and Israel, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Benjamin Netanyahu, spoke by phone today, according to a post by the latter’s office on X.

As Netanyahu’s post underlined, the discussion focused on the Israeli leader’s recent official visit to Washington, where, among others, he met with Donald Trump at the White House.

Additionally, the latest developments and situation in the wider region was discussed, along with efforts to further boost bilateral cooperation.

Israel and Greece have over the last two decades, and especially in recent years, ramped up cooperation in various sectors, including defense and strategic projects, such as in the energy sector.
