“These challenges demand responses that go beyond national borders,” the Prime Minister said, noting their prominence on the European Union’s agenda and underscoring the need for Greece to tackle them thoughtfully.

He noted positive economic indicators, such as a decline in inflation and robust performance in the holiday retail market. However, Mitsotakis acknowledged ongoing challenges and announced a government initiative aimed at streamlining public sector disciplinary processes.
The Prime Minister also focused on economic reforms, emphasizing the importance of capital markets for private sector growth. A forthcoming Finance Ministry bill aims to provide incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to list on the stock exchange, creating new financing opportunities to bolster the economy’s growth dynamics.
