According to a poll carried out by GPO for Greek TV station Star, the ruling conservative New Democracy (ND) leads in voter intention, while the findings reflect the emerging landscape in Greek politics less than a week after the internal party elections in PASOK and the re-election of Nikos Androulakis.

The survey reveals that PASOK received a boost in support, though the socialist party does not pose a threat to New Democracy, which continues to lead comfortably.

Meanwhile, SYRIZA’s support is dropping to lower levels, particularly after the exclusion of Stefanos Kasselakis from the leadership race.

More specifically, New Democracy leads with 26.5% in voting intention, maintaining a 12.2-point lead over PASOK, which is in second place with an increase to 14.3% from 11.8%.

SYRIZA continues its freefall with 7.6% in the fifth palace The Communist Party (KKE) ranks third with 8.3%, followed by the Greek Solution with 8.1%. In sixth place is Voice of Logic with 4.4%, followed by: Course of Freedom at 3.6%, NIKI at 3%, New Left at 2%, and MeRA25 at 1.5%. Undecided voters account for 15.7%.

Among all respondents, 60.4% view the outcome of PASOK’s internal elections positively or somewhat positively, while 33.7% have the opposite view.
