Greek PM Mitsotakis to Meet with Polish Counterpart in Warsaw

This is the first visit of a Greek Prime Minister to Poland since 2011

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has headed to Warsaw, where he will be received by his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk.

This is the first visit of a Greek Prime Minister to Poland since 2011.

The visit to Warsaw comes a day after the Greek PM was in Vilnius, Lithuania for the 3 Seas Initiative Summit. PM Mitsotakis also participated in a working dinner Thursday evening organized by Charles Michel for discussions on the Strategic Agenda of the European Union, ahead of the upcoming special European Council.

The agenda of Friday’s meeting will cover all issues of European interest, including recent developments in Ukraine and the Middle East, the strategy of the European People’s Party in the run-up to the European elections and what lies in store for Europe.

The meeting is set at 12:15 Greek Time, following which the two leaders will make statements to the press.
