Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to receive former French President François Hollande, who is paying a visit to Athens, at the Maximos Mansion government office on Friday afternoon.

Hollande, a member of the Socialist party, who served as the president of France from 2012 until 2017, will play a prominent role as the featured speaker at the upcoming 2nd European Conference on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises a day later at a downtown Athens hotel.

This conference is being jointly coordinated by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the General Confederation of Greek Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants, in partnership with The Economist.

The European Business Summit, entitled “How can SMEs innovate and compete in a volatile economic environment?”, will address significant challenges that the European economy faces amidst geopolitical instability, imbalance in the energy and raw material supply. And how Small and medium-sized enterprises can achieve growth by implementing the necessary reforms to overcome these challenges.

Development Minister Kostas Skrekas will represent  Mitsotakis at the conference.
