The Minister of National Defense of Greece, Nikos Dendias, contacted NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte over the phone today, (January 29).
During their talk, the two officials broached matters expected to be included on the agenda at the upcoming NATO Defense Ministers’ meeting scheduled for February 13, 2025, in Brussels.
“We discussed issues that will be addressed at the upcoming NATO meeting,” Mr. Dendias wrote on his account on X.
Greece has consistently spent above the 2% national budget limit NATO demands as a requirement for member states in the military alliance.
