Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is traveling to Brussels today to participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Monday, March 17, to discuss Ukraine, the middle east, and EU-US relations.

EU foreign ministers gather in Brussels on Monday to discussions the war in Ukraine, the crisis in the Middle East as well as EU relations with the United States., according to a statement by Greece’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to reports at Politico, the Ministers will discuss EU High Representative Kaja Kallas’ plan for countries to send up to €40 billion in military aid to Ukraine this year.

On behalf of Greece, Minister of Foreign George Gerapetritis will also take part in the 9th Brussels Conference on Syria, which will address humanitarian and political developments in the region. The global community is increasingly concerned about reports of massacres and extra-judicial killings in the coastal areas of Latakia and Tartus.
