Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis will travel to India this week for a two-day visit, beginning on Thursday, where he is scheduled to meet with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Afterwards, expanded talks will take place between members of the visiting Greek delegation with Indian officials from the foreign ministry.

On Friday, Gerapetritis will be received by Ajit Doval, India’s veteran national security advisor (NSA).

Finallly, the Greek foreign minister will also be the keynote speaker at an event on Friday organized by the think tank Observer Research Foundation, entitled “Greece-India: Partnership in the Current Geopolitical Landscape”.

Athens and New Delhi have intensified contacts over recent years, including talks on more strategic topics.
