Greece’s foreign ministry, in echoing other countries’ warnings, on Tuesday called on Greek citizens visiting Lebanon to leave the Mideast country.
In an announcement posted on the ministry’s website, it states that “…Following previous announcements and in light of current developments, all travel to Lebanon should be avoided. Moreover, all Greek citizens currently in Lebanon should depart the country immediately using available commercial flights.

According to a WSJ dispatch on Tuesday afternoon, thousands of Lebanese are fleeing their homes in the country’s south as Israel intensifies its military campaign against Hezbollah, targeting another senior commander and raising fears of an all-out war a day after a barrage of strikes killed hundreds in the country.
