The re-elected president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, has announced the new makeup of the party’s political center.
The center-left party will have a 9-member Coordinating Political Center made up of:
- Harry Doukas
- Pavlos Geroulanos
- Anna Diamantopoulou
- Nikos Christodoulakis
- Milena Apostolaki
- Thanasis Glavinas
- Myrto Samaras
- Katerina Solomou
- Yannis Vardakastanis
Former party presidential candidates Geroulanos, Diamantopoulou, and Doukas are included in this new inner circle, as part of PASOK’s ongoing push to maintain and project unity.
Other former candidates were named as the heads of different Parliamentary Departments– – Michalis Katrinis for National Defense and Nadia Giannakopoulou for Immigration and Asylum.
Anna Diamantopoulou, former Commissioner to the EU and former Minister, will additionally be in charge of Political Planning.
The Programme Team Coordinator will be Lefteris Karchimakis, a Lawyer and Political Scientist, and the Deputy Coordinator is Katerina Plecia-Estathopoulou an Engineer specializing in sustainable development issues.
The Press Representative is now Kostas Tsoukalas, a Labor lawyer.
Olga Markogiannaki, Member of the Political Council & Dr. Civil Engineer, is appointed as Deputy Press Representative.
Dimitris Biagis, Member of the Parliament of Corfu, is nominated for the position of Secretary of the Parliamentary Group, who is also responsible for Demographic Policy.
Ioannis Tsimaris, Member of Parliament from Ioannina, is nominated for the post of Deputy Secretary of the Parliamentary Group.
The Parliamentary Representatives will be Pavlos Geroulanos and Dimitris Mantzos.
The first meeting of the new PASOK center will take place Tuesday afternoon and the Parliamentary Group will meet on the morning of Wednesday.
