SYRIZA, Greece’s main opposition party, loses its status as such, following the departure of yet two more of its Members of Parliament on Thursday, Nov 21. MPs Theodora Tzakri and Giota Poulou announced their departure from SYRIZA, triggering new political developments, changing the parliamentary landscape at the same time.


Amazon announced it is investing $1 billion in three new large-scale wind farms in Greece to help meet the company’s energy needs in the region, while also supporting Greece’s transition to renewable energy sources, according to a report at AMNA.
The announcement was made during the “AWS Day powered by Logicom” event in Greece, attended by Greece’s Minister of Environment and Energy, Theodoros Skylakakis, and marks the company’s largest renewable energy initiative in Greece.

As consumers in Greece are readying to take advantage of discounted products on Black Friday, which this year falls on November 29, a recent survey carried out by Revolut, which has over 1 million customers in Greece, sheds light on the anxieties and preferences, shaping the shopping habits of Greeks during the annual sales event.


Antetokounmpo is partnering with international production banner Studio Galazio for the production of a movie in Mykonos. The project, featuring Julia Fox (Uncut Gems) and Clelia Andriolatou (Maestro in Blue) in leading roles, has wrapped principal photography on its first project with the movie set to begin shooting soon. Riccardo Scamarcio (Modi, John Wick 2), Vito Schnabel (The Trainer), and Andrew Georgiades are also part of the cast.
