The 44-year-old woman from Trikala, in Thessaly, central Greece, can consider herself lucky as the local court gave her a 3-year suspended sentence.


The number of building permits issued in May 2024 fell by 19.6%, according to data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
