Local authorities are searching for a British tourist who went missing in Greece. Greek authorities have issued a category 4 (orange) fire alert for Friday, August 23, warning of a “very high risk of fire” across multiple regions in the country.


New disturbing revelations have emerged surrounding the tragic death of a 19-year-old at an amusement park in Pefkochori, Halkidiki, through a media report that claims an engineer signed off on the deadly ride’s safety certification just hours before the accident, without actually putting the faulty ride into operation.


Six out of 10 Greeks prefer car leasing or renting, as opposed to purchasing, due to the high costs involved in buying a car, according to a report at Ta Nea.
