Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday morning will welcome a select group of international executives to the Maximos Mansion government seat, with CEOs representing the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations arriving in the Greek capital.
According to reports on Tuesday, the CEOs of Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Merck Group, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Bayer, Sanofi, MSD, TEVA and Lilly expected to be received by the Greek premier. Pfizer and chairman CEO Albert Bourla, a native of Thessaloniki, is expected to be among the attendees.
While pharmaceuticals’ top executives are expected to discuss global sector issues, the Greek side, as host of the morning meeting, is interested in promoting the country as an investment and R&D destination.
