Ten hotels across Greece are slated to hit the auction block in the coming months, with initial bids ranging from 2.19 million euros to 13.9 million euros. These properties, situated predominantly in coastal regions, are seeking new opportunities in a tourism sector projected for significant growth in the years ahead.
Scheduled throughout the summer from mid-June to October, these auctions feature hotels spanning from three-star accommodations to luxurious five-star resorts, each offering varied facilities, capacities, and amenities.
Among the highlights is the prestigious “Kinetta Beach” resort, expected to be acquired by the ComerHotel Group, leading to the suspension of its auction. In Agia Marina, within the municipality of Chania, on the island of Crete, stands the acclaimed “Galini Sea View,” boasting 51 rooms with 107 beds and a total capacity of 128 rooms.
The three-star “LINDOS MEMORIES” in Lindos, on the island of Rhodes, and the “CHORA RESORT” on Folegandros island are also up for auction. Additionally, the “LIKNON” in Kalampaka, Trikala Prefecture, in the country’s mainland and the “ROYAL BEACH HOTEL” in Agios Nikolaos, on the island of Karpathos, are seeking new owners through this process.
Moreover, a Halkidiki hotel, in northern Greece, with 87 double and triple rooms and the “Kassandra Mare” and “SKIONI MARE Α.Ε.” hotels are part of this wave of auctions, marking a significant opportunity for investors in Greece’s vibrant hospitality sector.
