Dimitris Elafropoulos

Dimitris Elafropoulos is a data journalist at TO VIMA and a media researcher. Trained in data analysis through Columbia University’s Lede Program, Dimitris combines data-driven storytelling with in-depth research. He focuses on the digital public sphere, political discourse and crisis reporting. His work has examined Greek far-right networks, pandemic communication and the metaphorical conceptualization of immigrants in the  media. He has also reported on critical issues such as the collapse of infrastructures in Gaza and the deaths of journalists in conflict zones.
