Festivities will commence at 10PM with a captivating concert by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Athens Municipality followed by two performances from the renowned Greek artists Nikos Portokaloglou and Marina Satti, Greece’s esteemed 2024 Eurovision representative. At the stroke of midnight, the newly elected Athens’ mayor, Harris Doukas, will share heartfelt messages with the public, which will be accompanied by a breathtaking fireworks display that will illuminate and adorn the Athens’ sky.

New Year’s Eve at Piraeus and Celebrations
On December 30 a sailing ship that has travelled all the way from Peru in a cooperation with the Peruvian Embassy with dock in Piraeus. Step aboard this extraordinary ship, open to visitors, and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Peruvian art, cultural events, live music, and the exquisite flavors of Andean coffee and chocolate. “Christmas visions” Concert at the Maria Callas Museum
On December 30, immerse yourself in the enchanting sounds of a festive musical concert presented by the Athenian Quintet “Dimitrios Dounis” at the Maria Callas Museum. Experience Christmas suites ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions by Greek and foreign composers, including O’Carolan, Amadei, Milanesi, Kioulafidis, and the rare Concerto VI, All’ unisono in D major by Evaristo F. “New Year’s Eve in Paris” at Megaron Athens Concert Hall
Although less famous than the Italian opera, the annual New Year’s Eve concert for this year will be French opera. Four distinguished lyrical singers perform in the New Year’s Eve in Paris captivating arias and brilliant orchestral excerpts cherished and loved by the public. The concert is under the guidance of seasoned conductor Myron Michaelides and will take place for two performances on December 29 and 30 at 8:30PM.
Ennio-The Maestro at the Studio New Star Art Cinema
Don’t miss Guiseppe Tornatore’s autobiographical documentary about the legendary composer Ennio Morricone. Despite being a 2021 production, the film is premiering exclusively now at Studio New Art Star Cinema (Stavropoulou 33, Athens).
