MEUTE Live at the 23rd Athens Jazz Festival
This Sunday, May 26, the techno marching band from Hamburg, Meute will perform on the main stage of Technopolis City of Athens, signaling the opening of the 23rd edition of the Athens Jazz Festival—Greece’s longest-running jazz festival. Meute’s fanciful, provocative, and highly danceable jazz-techno music will be accompanied by an opening act from “To Pragma,” the unique jazz orchestra led by pianist Kostis Christodoulou. Doors open at 8 PM, with the concert beginning at 9 PM.
While the Athens Jazz Festival offers free entrance to the concerts, a special ticket is required for the opening and closing events. Tickets can be found here.

Fired Up Athens Ceramics Fair
Discover the artistry of ceramics at the Fired Up Athens Ceramics Fair, taking place this Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, from 11am-9pm at Kypseli Municipal Market. Over 60 contemporary ceramic artists will showcase and sell their unique creations, ranging from decorative to functional pieces. Engage with the artists and explore the craft through hands-on activities. On Saturday (12 PM-6 PM), try your hand at the potter’s wheel, and on Sunday (12 PM-3 PM), enjoy a live demonstration on the Japanese firing technique, Raku, by Theodoros Galigalidis.
