The second season of the well-received Greek-language series Maestro in Blue debuts on Netflix and Mega TV on May 16, with six episodes set for broadcast on Greece’s most popular television channel as well as on the global platform.

The drama series, created by Christoforos Papakaliatis and co-produced by Mega, broke new ground last year when it became the first Greek-language production shown on the global streaming service. Maestro in Blue entered the global Top Ten for non-English language series in 18 countries after its March 2023 release.

The show centers on a musician from Athens called Orestis, played by Papakaliatis, who arrives on the small and picturesque Ionian island of Paxos during the pandemic to organize a music festival in which the performers will be local teens. He falls in love with a local woman and is drawn into the tight-knit community and its personal stories.
