A new festival dedicated to your favorite beers kicks off at the Athens Technopolis in Gazi on May 10 and includes everything you ever wanted to know about Greek and international beers.
The first “WORLD OF Beer (WoB)” festival will feature microbreweries from across Greece and abroad and their brews as well as a selection of over 1,000 beers from around the globe plus exciting rare labels.
Beer workshops and tastings, DJ sets, concerts, games, stand-up comedy shows, panel discussions, beer awards, happenings, and lots of street food promise to keep beer lovers on their toes.
Meanwhile, beer experts and sommeliers will be on the spot to offer enthusiasts tips on their favourite brews, the history of beer, food pairing and creating beer-based cocktails.
Tickets for the WORLD OF Beer Festival cost 5 euros and include a branded bag, a branded WoB 330ml cup for tasting, and two free tasting passes: one for a limited edition beer and the other for a free tasting of a Hellenic Association of Brewers brew.
Additionally, tickets cover admission to stand-up comedy shows (first-come, first-served basis), concerts, workshops in the Purifier Hall, and to the Beer Museum.
