In a post on his social media, the world acclaimed American actor Morgan Freeman praised the Greek series Maestro in Blue, which airs on MEGA TV and is the first Greek series to stream globally on Netflix.
Although in Greece, the series by the multi-talented Christophoros Papakaliatis—who wrote the script, directed, and stars in it—has been available on Netflix since Tuesday with the fourth episode of the third season airing on MEGA TV on Thursday, the show will be available in other Netflix markets, excluding Greece and Cyprus, starting on December 28.
The famous actor expressed his love for the island of Paxos (or Paxi) in the Ionian Sea, lying just south of Corfu, where Maestro in Blue, was filmed. Freeman encouraged his millions of followers not to miss out on watching the dramatic series.

The Plot
