The Hellenic American Union (HAU) proudly inaugurates its first international photography exhibition, organized in cooperation with the Moments Collective, tomorrow, June 3, at 7:30pm at the HUA’s John Kennedy Gallery. The exhibition is dedicated to the award-winning photographs of its first international competition.
Running until June 23, the exhibition showcases awarded works by 190 photographers from 39 countries and offers free admission.
Curator Dora Lavazou explains, “Believing that the art of photography fosters culture and diversity, Moments Collective places coexistence and co-creativity at the core of its values. The exhibition is characterized by trends and influences from various photographic movements, exuding a sense of freedom and diverse visual perspectives. It represents a visual and cultural anthropology.”
The exhibition is held under the auspices of Fujifilm Hellas. During the opening, greetings will be addressed by managing director Saeed Al-Sharbati, curators Dora Lavazou and Ypatia Kornarou, and Myrto Stamatopoulou, a PhD candidate at the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts of the University of West Attica.
Opening hours are Monday-Friday from 12pm to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
