Greek pop singer Konstantinos Argiros performed at the renowned Barclays Cente, located in the heart of Brooklyn in New York on Friday, November 18, making him the first-ever Greek artist to appear at the iconic venue.

This marked the first time that Greek sounds flooded the historic arena, which has hosted top names in the global music industry such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Depeche Mode, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Justin Bieber, and Doja Cat over the years.

The Greek pop star performed in front of more than 10,000 elated spectators who experienced a thrilling musical journey. The show was in collaboration with Panik Live and featured Konstantinos Argiros’ dozens of personal hits.

Meanwhile, Konstantinos Argiros, continuing his tour in the United States and Canada, captivated audiences with his latest zeibekiko single, “Mia Thessaloniki.”

The zeibekiko is a solo dance resembling drunken-like moves and is linked to the wider rebetiko genre – urban folk music that originated in the western coastal urban areas of Tukey in the 19th century and reached its peak in the 1930s.

The song, dedicated to the city of Thessaloniki, is his most recent release and like most of his songs, was immediately embraced by the audience, soaring to the top of charts, and YouTube trends.
