The Greek Ministry of Culture is offering free admission to all state-owned archaeological sites, historic places, monuments, and museums on Sunday, November 3.
This initiative allows all visitors to explore Greece’s cultural treasures without an entrance fee.
This free access policy applies on the first Sunday of each month from November 1 to March 31, covering the entire winter season.
For 2024–2025, this includes free entry on the first Sunday of each month from November 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025.
In addition to the winter Sundays, other designated free admission days include October 28 (Greek National Holiday), April 18 (International Day for Monuments), May 18 (International Museum Day), the last weekend of September (European Heritage Days), and March 6 (Melina Mercouri Memorial Day).
