The music video “Feels Like I’m Falling in Love,” by British rock band Coldplay shot at Athens’ historic Herodes Atticus Odeon beneath the Acropolis, premiered on Monday, marking a dazzling cinematic achievement.
Following two sold-out concerts at Athens’ Olympic Stadium last month in the Greek capital, Coldplay ventured to the ancient amphitheater on June 10, 2024, inviting fans via social media to join them in filming. Against the iconic backdrop of the Acropolis, the band and audience created a vibrant spectacle for the song.
The video begins with a poignant moment as a woman translates Chris Martin’s lyrics into sign language. Soon after, all band members engage in this expressive interpretation, with fans singing along, clapping, and joining in the sign language rendition set against a stark black-and-white backdrop.
The video culminates with a stunning aerial shot, courtesy of a drone, revealing Athens’ skyline illuminated by moonlight.
Approximately 2,500 participants gathered at the Herodes Atticus Odeon, contributing to the magical atmosphere captured in Coldplay’s latest visual masterpiece.
