Classical Music by ERT Choir Under the Athens Observatory Sky on July 26

A free concert of classical music awaits this Friday at one of Athens' most atmospheric settings, the National Observatory, offering free admission

This Friday, July 26, visitors to the National Observatory of Athens can enjoy a concert by the ERT Choir starting at 9:30 PM, set against the enchanting backdrop of the night sky and stars.

Works by composers Samuel Barber, Claude Debussy, Ola Gjeilo, Edvard Grieg, Morten Lauridsen, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Max Reger, and Gustav Holst will resonate under the moonlit sky, creating a cosmic musical ambience. Marilena Souri will perform on the piano, and Ioanna Panagopoulou will play percussion. The concert will be conducted by Michalis Papapetrou.

Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
