Blank Wall Gallery is proud to host the 3rd B&W Athens Photography Festival from February 22 to 24, 2025, at the Serafio Sports and Culture Complex in Athens. Following the success of the Chania International Photo Festival and over 11 years of presence in Athens, the gallery’s annual event continues to attract top-tier international talent and enthusiasm.

This year’s festival will feature exceptional works from over 350 photographers across 70 countries, showcasing the universal appeal of black-and-white photography in a variety of categories and offering a multicultural artistic perspective.

In addition to the exhibition, photographer and photography instructor Vangelis Vasalakis will conduct a workshop titled: “The Mindset of Manual Camera Settings in Photographic Work Performance”.Vasalakis’ workshop (conducted in Greek) is inspired by the 2024 Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibition at the Goulandris Museum.

The festival opens on Saturday, February 22, at 18:00, with an event attended by a diverse group of local and international artists. The exhibition will be open to the public until Monday, February 24, with plenty of opportunities to explore and appreciate the art of black-and-white photography.
