More seasonally low temperatures and cloudy skies are forecast for Greece on Wednesday, with the exception of eastern regions, which will be characterized by extended sunny spells.
That being said, the northern Aegean will likely see a light local drizzle. More frequent and slightly stronger showers are expected in the Ionian Islands, where brief thunderstorms may also develop. Snowfall is forecast in the mountains of mainland Greece and Crete, while frost is expected in the interior regions during the morning and night.
Temperatures will remain low for the season, reaching 9–10°C in northern and eastern mainland areas, and up to 12°C in western Greece. In the Aegean, the chill will persist, with highs ranging from 8°C in the north to 13–14°C in Crete and the Dodecanese.
Winds in the Ionian will be southeasterly at 5–7 Beaufort, while in the Aegean, they will blow from the north at 4–6 Beaufort, reaching 7 Beaufort in the Dodecanese before weakening by evening.

- Attica: Sunshine with occasional cloud cover. Temperature up to 10°C. Winds from the north at 4–5 Beaufort, reaching 6 Beaufort in eastern parts.
- Thessaloniki: Periods of increased cloudiness with brief sunny spells. Temperature up to 9°C. Winds in the Thermaic Gulf from the southeast at 2–4 Beaufort.
Thursday (13/02) Forecast
Cloudy with local showers in the Ionian, mainland Greece, and western Crete. From midday, rain will spread to Evia, the Sporades, the rest of Crete, and by evening, to the Cyclades. Scattered thunderstorms will mainly affect the Ionian Islands, western Central Greece, and the western and southern Peloponnese. Snowfall is expected in mountainous mainland areas and northern Evia.
- Winds: Southeasterly at 4–6 Beaufort in the west, locally reaching 7 Beaufort in the Ionian. In the east, initially northerly at 3–5 Beaufort, later shifting to southerly at up to 4 Beaufort.
- Temperature: Slight increase in western and southern regions, reaching 13–15°C in the Ionian, western/southern mainland, Crete, the Dodecanese, and the Cyclades. In the north, temperatures will range from 8–11°C, while elsewhere, they will reach 11–13°C. Frost is expected in central and northern mainland areas in the morning and evening.
Friday (14/02) Forecast
Increased cloud cover with local showers, mainly in western, central, and southern Greece. Scattered thunderstorms will develop in the Ionian, western mainland, and, from midday, in the Cyclades and eastern Aegean Islands.
Light snow will fall in mountainous areas, particularly in central and northern regions.

Saturday (15/02) Forecast
Widespread cloudiness across the country with local showers. Scattered thunderstorms will develop mainly in the Ionian, eastern Aegean Islands, and the Dodecanese. Light snowfall is expected in mountainous areas of central and northern Greece.
- Winds: Southerly at 3–5 Beaufort, increasing to 6 Beaufort in the Ionian. In the northeastern Aegean, winds will shift to an easterly-northeasterly direction at 4–5 Beaufort from midday.
- Temperature: No significant change.
Sunday (16/02) Forecast
Gradually increasing cloud cover in the Ionian, western mainland, and later in the rest of mainland Greece, Evia, and the northeastern Aegean Islands, bringing local showers and scattered thunderstorms. By evening, rainfall may intensify in some areas.
Elsewhere, intermittent cloud cover will bring occasional rain showers. Snowfall is expected in central and northern mountainous regions.
- Winds: Southerly at 4–5 Beaufort, reaching 6 Beaufort at sea. In the northeastern Aegean, easterly-northeasterly winds at 3–5 Beaufort.
