The celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany is expected to come with mostly clear and mild weather across Greece.

According to the National Meteorological Service, the day will begin with widespread sunshine across the country, though clouds will develop in the west and north during the afternoon. Visibility in the early morning hours may be locally restricted due to fog. Winds will initially blow from northern directions but will shift to west-south westerly later in the day.

Temperatures will rise across the country reaching approximately 12°C in northern Greece, 14–15°C in central regions, and up to 16°C in the south.

The seas are expected to remain calm, making conditions favorable for Epiphany celebrations which involve swimming to grab the cross.

Hikers visiting ski resorts will also benefit from the good weather, as sufficient snow remains due to relatively low temperatures.

Today will bring some unsettled weather to specific regions across Greece. The Cyclades, Crete, and the Dodecanese will experience local rains and sporadic storms that will gradually subside. Elsewhere, light clouds will prevail, with scattered showers in the Sporades and Evia during the morning hours. Temperatures will dip slightly in southern areas, and localized frost is expected in the northwest during the morning.

The weather outlook for early January suggests temperatures above seasonal norms, with a temporary dip and possible rain later in the week. Toward mid-January, cooler weather and more pronounced weather phenomena are expected.
